The past week we have been fortunate to welcome many foreign visitors to the Chargepoint stand at the Holland e-Mobility House in Hal 27 at Hannover Messe in Germany.
"It was very interesting to see so many people showing an interest in e-mobility solutions. Our FEV (full electric vehicles) and PHEV (plug-in hybrid vehicles) Chargepoints have proven to be a smart choice for governments, utilities and businesses in the Dutch market", said Jeroen Brouwer, director of Chargepoint, the leading Dutch developer of charging systems for electric vehicles.
"Now that the Netherlands has over 30 thousand cars with a plug and more than 25 thousand charging points around, it is the perfect place to develop state-of-the-art systems. We have done just that. With that broad experience and proven track record in the Dutch market, we are now bringing the Chargepoint charging solutions to other European countries. Up-time is crucial for e-drivers. Our systems are top performers and offer great value for money.", explained Brouwer at Hannover Messe.
Chargepoint offers a range of charging stations, both free standing poles and wall-box systems. Connection to OCCP (Open Charge Point Protocol) and integration with backoffice systems for data and transaction validation is available. The company has ample experience in smart charging electric vehicles in the public space, a field that requires the highest standards because the chargers are directly connected to the power grid.
Chargepoint is a privately held company based in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands.
